What I think ...

I received a call from my friend in Indonesia, Elta Diah ; "Hey Raj , how are you? I heard that there is a big demonstration going on against Malaysian government, by Indian community, are you involved?"I didnt say a word , but then I have to speak up ; " No, Im not involve, infact Im against the demonstration, its against Malaysian culture "I hang up the phone few minutes later , with many questions running in my mind.

After a short while, I went for a coffee break with my friend who shares the same thought , there shouldnt be any demonstration, but 25 Oct 2007 , marked an un-told truth to the Malaysian community, especially to Indian Community.

Well, this is my thought ;or mayb its just my illusion

Why Malaysian Indian community performed the demonstration? I guess, they not against the Malaysian Government , or UNMO lead Barisan Nasional party , but they are against themself...and what is that?I s that means they are against MIC? Not really, but then ...what they are against?
Well, its all about their situation,their environment and their social ring that they are really want to get rid off.They are against poverty , they are againts il-leteracy, against so many other situation that they cant overcome easily.
Then again, Malaysian government has done alot to improve our quality of life, and why Malaysian Indian community is still considered backward... and the truth is behind this simple question.

Few days later, I went for a meeting ...a political gathering at Balairaya Pekan Dangi' and here is where I got the answer for my question...

Malaysian Indian community is still backward not because of Malaysian Government Policy or UMNO lead Barisan Nasional coalition but its solely because of its own leader ; I mean Indian Community leader
Is that means Dato'Seri S.Samyvellu didnt do enough?

And I ask u back, is there any other better Indian Leader compare to him?The answer is NO, Dato Seri S.Samyvellu is the best leader Malaysian Indian Community ever had, and I would consider him as the 'un-touchable' because of his service to the Indian community. TAFE college ; the first college ever owned by any political party , dont you feel proud of that? 7% minority, but yet owns a tertiary education centre . It produces hundreds of graduates each year, and it improves chances of getting better life each and every day.Mayb you are one of them.
AIMST ; the largest university ever build by political party, and once again salute to the leader , Dato' Seri S.Samyvellu, ; Penang Bridge world's 3rd longest bridge , Highway ( dont shout about toll price, if u wanna get something good then u have to pay the price , remember market aunty's word? cheap cheap no good, good good no cheap ...)
And if Im going to write about him, then it will take months to finish this writing. Get a book on him at MPH.

Well, then whose mistake is that?Is that because of Dato'T.Rajagopalu, no chance at all ... he is my idol. I came into this political life after seeing him at his work, and his motivation,I have never seen anyone work for the community like him, smart and simple.He created a new chapter for MIC Negeri Sembilan by building a 3 storey MIC Office, has anyone thought of that before?

So, where is the problem actually?

It is in the grass root, the community leader at the grass root level causes this problem? Why do I say that? Well, ask yourself, who is ur MIC leader / PPP Leader / IPF leader ? Who are they ?
Dato' Seri S.samyvellu is an architech ,
Dato' T'Rajagopalu is a lawyer
... and who is your branch leader and who is your division leader? Can he speak Bahasa Melayu well, can he chat with the Malay leaders, can he joke with Chinesse leader? Can he speak English? Mayb its too much, can he understand English? Well, maybe its too much also , can he sms?

Well, now you know where is the problem!!!

An Uneducated leader cause an uneducated community, well just imagine, this has been happening for the last 5o years !!! This is serious problem, when a leader cant help himself, how he is going to help others? Look at Malay community leaders, or Chinesse...in my town, the Barisan Nasional Chairman is a lawyer , can this uneducated Malaysian Indian leaders sit beside him and chat, or discuss something about getting fund for Tamil school or discuss about recent Indian Community's problem? well, u know the answer, and that is why we are still backward even after 5o years.

It isnt because of Malaysian Government, or UMNO lead Barisan Nasional ; or MIC leaders , but the grass root Indian Community Leader.

Dato' seri S.samyvellu really aware of this situation, when he launches Putera MIC, I would say that; its a fine move by a community caring leader as it creates young talented and smart leaders. I have personally talked to Putera MIC's LeaderMr.P.Kamalanathan, who has a broad vision about Indian Community's future, I would say "This man is good ,I support him "

Well, back to the topic, how to overcome this problem? ; if Im the leader and the decision maker : In next Election

1.All Indian Community leaders must hold a degree, and atleast to hold post as chairman at Divison Level
2.All Youth Leader, must hold a degree , and its a MUST !!! Because they are the future leader.
3, Kick out money politics
4. Kick our crony politics
5.Have public debate like America, to see their vision and plan for the community

Try to do this, and we will be a better Indian community in next 10 years.
